Truma hot water boiler

Beitrag von Adrianlle » 19.03.2017 16:57

Good Evening. I have just filled my JC up with water after it being drained for the winter. However I cannot get the hot water boiler to work. It fires up when switched on but cuts out after a few seconds and the red light comes on. Can anyone help with ideas what to do? I need it for a trip in a weeks time! I will post separately about the heki remote which also is not working after the winter lay up. Adrian

Thanks Marc. Yes, I have removed the outside cover that has been on place over the winter. I have also run lots of water through the taps on hot setting in case there us an airlock in the water system. I have also tried switching on the boiler several times with 5 minute gaps in between on case there is air in the gas supply. It worked fine before I drained the system and put the outside cover on at the beginning of the winter. So I do not know what to do next. Adrian

Is your stove running? Just to make sure, that the propane supply is ok.

Good Morning. Thanks for the contributions. After numerous attempts over a few days the boiler started. At first it would only run at 30 degrees but now seems normal. Probably air in the propane supply. Will have it serviced but the first times available at truma agents are in July! Adrian.
